Dear Dr. EB, The first time when we met you we left your office feeling hopeful. Jeff was so scared and I remember you pulling up in your chair so you could talk to him face to face encouraging him.  Then when he was sitting on the table his face mask slipped and you gently fixed it for him.  It melted my heart.  On the way home I said to Jeff isn’t Dr. EB the sweetest doctor you ever met!  He agreed!

The next time we met after Jeff got marked (tattooed), etc. you came out in the waiting room to tell me how he did then asked if you could sit with me and we just chatted, then when Jeff came out we all walked over to the clinic side together.

Every time we met with you we knew you cared about your patients and you take the time to know them.  I told Jeff I was thinking about making you a Lapghan as you took such an interest in my knitting and have such a kind heart.  I wanted colors that would represent your warm heart and bright spirit, so I chose these colors.

I looked up some bible verses that make me think of and that I see in you.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in various forms- 1 peter4:10

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, Holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, humility, gentleness and patience-Colossians 3:12
